Join legendary fashion columnist and insider Billy Norwich (recently profiled in The New York Times here ) at the second annual “Very Cleveland Book Club” as he discusses his new work of fiction.

(Some of you might remember the first annual “Very Cleveland Book Club” where over 100 guests welcomed author George Hodgman author of the New York Times best-selling book, “Bettyville,” which went on to win several book awards.)

Norwich’s book, “My Mrs Brown” has been described by The New York Times as “A contemporary fairy tale… a gentle rebuke to today’s hyped-up fashion culture, which ignores the needs of ordinary women.”

We will greet Billy at a reception held at the elegant The Club at Hillbrook , a private 60-acre estate built in 1919 by the late Edmund S. Burke, Jr, former chairman of the federal reserve bank of Cleveland.  Burke was inspired architecturally to build this 40-room tudor from a home built in 1472 he visited in Ashford, Kent, England.  A purist, he had a portion of this home brought across the Atlantic from England.

Tickets to cover the cost of the reception are $30 and are limited to preserve the intimacy of the evening.  Should be a very special night!  Our thanks to The Club at Hillbrook for their generosity in helping us host this event.
